چکیده
The main purpose of this note is to characterize the operators S ∈ ker∆A,B ∩ C1 which are orthogonal to the range of elementary operators, where S is not a smooth point in C1 by using the φ−directional derivative.

Another Version of Anderson’s Inequality in the Ideal of All Compact Operators
This note studies how certain problems in quantum theory have motivated some recent research in pure Mathematics in matrix and operator theory. The mathematical key is that of a commutator. We introduce the notion of the pair (A,B) of operators having the FugledePutnam’s property in the ideal of all compact operators. The characterization of this class leads us to generalize some recent results...
متن کاملGâteaux Derivative and Orthogonality in C1-classes
The general problem in this paper is minimizing the C1(H)-norm of suitable affine mappings from B(H) to C1(H), using convex and differential analysis (Gâteaux derivative) as well as input from operator theory. The mappings considered generalize the so-called elementary operators and in particular the generalized derivations, which are of great interest by themselves. The main results obtained c...
متن کاملRelation between Best Approximant and Orthogonality in C1-classes
Let E be a complex Banach space and let M be subspace of E. In this paper we characterize the best approximant to A ∈ E from M and we prove the uniqueness, in terms of a new concept of derivative. Using this result we establish a new characterization of the best-C1 approximation to A ∈ C1 (trace class) from M . Then, we apply these results to characterize the operators which are orthogonal in t...

In this paper we will investigate the normality in (WN) and (Y) classes.
متن کاملSome Versions of Anderson’s and Maher’s Inequalities Ii
We are interested in the investigation of the orthogonality (in the sense of Birkhoff) of the range of an elementary operator and its kernel. 1. Introduction. Let H be a separable infinite-dimensional complex Hilbert space and let B(H) denote the algebra of all bounded operators on H into itself. Given A, B ∈ B(H), we define the generalized derivation δ A,B : B(H) B(H) by δ A,B (X) = AX −XB and...
